About Our Troop

Boy Scout Troop 772 is based out of Berea Baptist Church in Rockville, Virginia.  In general, we meet throughout the entire calendar year (including Summers) each Monday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church located at 15421 Pouncy Tract Road, Rockville, Virginia, 23146.  We serve boys in the western areas of Henrico County (including Short Pump) and the eastern areas of Goochland County.  We are in the Cardinal District, which is part of the Heart of Virginia Council.

We have an active Troop and each year we incorporate many activities and camping trips into our program including Summer camps, military base tours, rifle and shotgun shooting, and much more! We also participate in multiple volunteering activities throughout the year including Scouting for Food around each Thanksgiving to collect food donations for the Central Virginia Food Bank.  As with Boy Scouts of America as a whole, our Troop program is designed to teach boys teamwork and life and leadership skills in a fun and active structured environment.

Our annual mulch sale is our sole fundraiser for our Troop for the year and is the main way we are able to operate our Troop.  We believe our fundraiser teaches our Scouts a strong work ethic, and it allows us to support our robust Troop program for the entire year.  Thank you for your support!
